Google Arts & Culture often publishes some interesting features and projects.For example, there was a very popular event before, that users can upload a selfie, which then would be paired to the corresponding famous painting.

Later, a function was promoted to mark the five main colors in the painting, and based on these results, works of similar colors were recommended. Users' own pictures could also be uploaded.

✨The big movement in 2018 is even more impressive.In collaboration with 33 museums, Google has collected more than 800 exhibits of Frida and hosted a fun and interesting online exhibition called "Faces of Frida" for Mexican legendary painter Frida Kahlo.


There were many highlights in this exhibition. For example, there were many works of Frida that are not available in the museum but from private collections around the world.With a click of the mouse, you can visit Frida’s former residence through Google Street View.
Probably only Frida can let Google to spare so much efforts to curate a large online art exhibition, which is by far the largest collection of digital art exhibits.

Speaking of Frida Kahlo, many people will pay tribute.Not only because she led the Mexican art that was once not widely acknowledged to the international arena.
Also, because her artistic attainments and influence have penetrated into every aspect of film, fashion, design, and other culture.
Even when Picasso saw her portrait, he lamented that he could not paint a self-portrait like Frida.
The Louvre Museum, the world's top four museums, also houses Frida's work.

In fact, the first self-portrait was painted when Frida was sick on her bed for her first boyfriend.
That year she was only 18 years old. A car accident broke her spine seriously. The iron handrail pierced her pelvis which led to the extreme difficulty to be pregnant all over her life.
