In 2004, Japanese designer Yoshio Taniguchi designed a Bauhaus-style museum for MoMA.

The transparent glass and square cutting style not only creates a sense of transparency in all directions, but also subtly combines the daily light to capture the moment when nature is integrated into the building. The new outdoor sculpture garden houses the classic works of sculpture masters such as Alexander Calder and Barnett Newman, making the exhibition space more diverse. The eastern aesthetics of Oriental architecture and the aesthetics of Western modern art have allowed MoMA to continuously improve and innovate in the exhibition.

At the beginning, MoMA only had 8 paintings and 1 sketch from the collector. It wasn't until 1931 that a total of 116 paintings, prints, and sketches were bequeathed by Lillie P. Bliss, one of the founders, that the collection really started.

With long-term donations and constant purchases, MoMA's collections have been greatly enriched and expanded. It now has more than 6,000 drawings, 50,000 prints and illustration books, 25,000 photos, 3,200 paintings and sculptures, 24,000 architectural and design works, 20,000 films, videos and other media works. To date, it contains nearly 200,000 pieces of modern and contemporary art.

Among the most famous works in the collection are Pablo Picasso's "Yavis Girl", Vincent Van Gogh's "The Starry Night", Henri Matisse's "Blue Window", Piemon. Dean's "Broadway Jazz", Claude Monet's "Water Lilies". These handed down classics became the cornerstone of the treasure house of MoMA.

In addition to traditional paintings, sculptures and other works, MoMA also has some special collections, such as the first generation of emoji launched by the Japanese telecommunications company NTT DoCoMo, a wide variety of childhood memories - video games (such as "Tetris", "The Sims", "Pac-Man", etc.)

It even includes the iPod made by Apple, the sugar interface of XO-type laptop, and other modern industrial products that combine technology and design. MoMA has built an aesthetic world of unparalleled modern art with a variety of artistic media.
